Born in Telford, UK, Mark has lived in Spain for 32 years. He began his journey in franchising at Wall Street Institute in Barcelona in 1999, from where he was re-posted to Beijing in 2000. Later he joined the BNI UK National Office team, and became a BNI regional franchisee in Madrid in 2009, and then Master Franchisee in 2011. His franchise currently has over 5,200 members, and has enjoyed year-on-year growth for the last 13 years. In 2023 Spain CNM broke two BNI World Records on June 30th by inducting 1,213 new Members and launching 24 chapters on one day. This year he plans to launch a total of 40 new chapters. Mark is also Co-Master Franchisee for Corporate Connections Spain, and has other business interests in real estate and as an investor.

Mark’s previous Jobs include being a profesional musician until the age of 30 (he still plays professionally to this day), and then working in several national and multinational organizations in a training, management and franchise support capacity both in Europe and Asia.

Mark lives in Madrid and is married to Azucena. Together they have 2 sons, Oliver (16) and Cameron (14).
